The Agile Executive Summit brought agile development to executives and managers. CIOs, CTOs, interested CEOs, and managers heard dynamite presentations from senior executives and had a chance to relate that information to their own specific issues. The Executive Summit participants discussed and shared the challenges of understanding, justifying, and implementing agile methods in a small-group, collegial atmosphere.

Agile development and project management, an emerging set of exciting new concepts and practices, reduce schedules, increase productivity, and improve quality. However, executives must understand these new methods, justify their use, and facilitate the changes required to use them effectively. The Summit was designed to highlight and discuss these issues.
